The Department of Management continues to implement modern educational technologies aimed at improving the quality of education and developing students' professional competencies.
Lecturer K.T. Tulegenova conducted a class in the discipline of Management on the topic "The Planning and Forecasting Function" for second-year students enrolled in the State and Local Administration educational programme. The class incorporated case-based learning, SWOT analysis, the SMART framework, scenario forecasting, brainstorming, small-group activities, and interactive digital platforms. Students analysed management situations, developed organisational goals and plans, explored alternative development scenarios, and proposed solutions considering potential changes in the external environment.
Particular attention was paid to the practical application of theoretical knowledge, the development of analytical and critical thinking, teamwork skills, and the ability to make well-grounded management decisions. The use of modern teaching methods made the class more practice-oriented and increased students' engagement in the learning process.
