Guest Lecture on the Institution of Advocacy in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Esil University hosted a guest lecture entitled "The Institution of Advocacy in the Republic of Kazakhstan" with representatives of the Kostanay Regional Bar Association. The speakers were L. Chausova, Chair of the Association's Disciplinary Commission and Member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Republican Bar Association, and A. Kuanyshbayev, a practicing lawyer at the Kostanay Regional Bar Association.

The event was organised by K. Rakhimbekov, Senior Lecturer and Master of Laws at the Department of Law, with the participation of S. Rakhimbekova, Chair of the Academic and Methodological Board of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences and Acting Associate Professor.

First-year students enrolled in the Law educational programme attended the lecture. The speakers discussed the concept and legal status of the legal profession, the specifics of legal practice, and shared examples from their professional experience. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for professional internships and traineeships at the Bar Association.

The lecture was held in an open dialogue format, allowing students to ask questions and receive practical recommendations from experienced professionals. The meeting provided an opportunity to expand students' professional knowledge and familiarise them with the practical aspects of their future legal careers.
