T.K. Bekzhanova, Head of the Department of Accounting and Audit, and M.K. Uspabayeva, academic adviser to group Б-ЕжА 26/1, conducted a session entitled “Academic Integrity as a Foundation for Quality Education” for first-year students.
The meeting covered core principles of academic integrity, the consequences of academic misconduct, plagiarism, and the use of artificial intelligence. Students received guidance on acceptable uses of information and proper source citation.
Participants were given practical recommendations on completing assignments independently, managing their time, and discussing difficulties with their lecturers. The session aimed to develop responsibility, critical thinking, and self-monitoring skills.
