Third-year Management students Sh. Sherov and A. Sansyzbayev attended the “Digital Security Lessons from the Financial Monitoring Agency” forum in Astana. The event brought together approximately 1,600 students.
The forum focused on young people’s digital and financial literacy, safe online behaviour and the prevention of cyberfraud. Participants learned about common forms of online fraud, threats associated with deepfakes, money mule activity and social engineering techniques.
The event also addressed responsible behaviour in digital environments and the critical evaluation of information to help protect against modern cyberthreats.
