Second-year students of the "Tourism" educational programme, under the supervision of Senior Lecturer of the Department of "Social Work and Tourism" Gizzatzhanov A.G., participated in an educational excursion to the Military History Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The aim of the excursion was to familiarize students with the rich history of Kazakhstan's armed forces and their heroic contribution to the establishment and defence of the country's independence. Students had the opportunity not only to view unique exhibits but also to learn many interesting facts from the history of military service.
During the excursion, participants familiarized themselves with the museum's thematic halls, which display historical documents, military equipment, weapon specimens, and archival materials. The interactive exhibits attracted particular interest, allowing museum visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the wartime years.
Senior Lecturer Gizzatzhanova A.G. noted that such events contribute to the development of patriotic spirit among youth and deepen students' knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of Kazakhstan.
The excursion concluded with a collective discussion, during which students shared their impressions and expressed gratitude to the organisers for the opportunity provided.
Such educational events play an important role in the training of future specialists in the tourism sector, enabling them to better understand the significance of cultural and historical sites for attracting tourists and developing domestic tourism.
