During the Department of Management Week at Esil University, Senior Lecturer of the Department Sharimova Magiresh and third-year students of the Management educational programme conducted a Debate Tournament on the topic "VAT at 16%: Opportunities or Challenges?" The participants presented the actual economic situation on this topic with substantiated arguments and attempted to persuade the audience of their viewpoint and the future prospects of forthcoming market changes.
The audience comprising the teaching staff, led by the Head of the Management Department, Baigirreyeva Zhanar Zamashovena, evaluated the debaters' arguments. Students from the Management EP and the PSA EP actively posed questions to the debaters and expressed their opinions on this topical issue in contemporary society. Based on the debate results, all audience members voted for the teams whose arguments were the most convincing and substantive. Talghatov Temirlan and Malyarchuk Anastasia were awarded First-Degree Diplomas. Kokenov Ilyas and Filipenko Ivan were awarded Second-Degree Diplomas.
