Curatorial Hour “Егемен елдің айбыны” (The Pride of a Sovereign Nation)

At Esil University, a curatorial hour dedicated to the Republic Day of Kazakhstan was held for students of group Dm 25/1 under the theme “Егемен елдің айбыны” (The Pride of a Sovereign Nation). The event was organized by the group’s curator, A.K. Shaimerdenova. Its aim was to foster patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for Kazakhstan’s history, culture, and traditions.

During the curatorial hour, students discussed the historical significance of Republic Day and the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR, adopted on October 25, 1990. Attention was also given to the role of state symbols, the native language, and national culture in strengthening national unity. The importance of sovereignty and every citizen’s responsibility for maintaining peace and harmony was emphasized.

Participants shared their views on the role of young people in the development of independent Kazakhstan and highlighted the importance of education, a responsible attitude toward studies, and respect for public values. At the end of the event, the curator congratulated the students on Republic Day and wished them peace, prosperity, and new achievements.
